This 90-minute walking tour is for art, history, and legend lovers! Join our tour guides as they share the intriguing stories of many of the statues located around St. Armands Circle along with what they are made of, where they originated, and why we love them!
Many of the pieces date back to the 1920s when they were brought over from Europe by John and Mable Ringling. Others are much more recent but all of them have interesting stories we’re ready to share with you! Unlike our other Key Culinary Tours, this St. Armands Circle tour is not based around food but is based on art, culture, and history. Come stroll through Sarasota’s past with us!
When: Thursday, Friday, Saturday Time: 10 a.m. Duration: 90 minutes Includes: Guided tour of St. Armands Circle. If you enjoyed your tour, tips are accepted and greatly appreciated by our tour guides. Attire: Comfortable walking shoes Weather: We tour rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the weather Where to meet: At the bronze life-sized John Ringling on the circle at S. Blvd. of Presidents near Crab & Fin. Parking: Please be mindful that some parking spots on St. Armands are a restricted three-hour duration and the tour takes 90 minutes. There is free parking available off both N. Adams (behind Columbia) and off S. Adams (behind Crab & Fin). These streets are just before you enter the circle if coming from Downtown Sarasota/mainland on John Ringling Blvd.
Please note that all St. Armands Circle tours require a minimum of four people. This does not mean one party must book four individuals, but that our total headcount achieves the minimum. We will notify you if we have not reached this capacity and will always strive to accommodate our valued guests!
