TIME: Tours begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. by reservation only. Please allow extra time for parking and getting to the meeting location
WHERE TO MEET: We meet at the Fat Chef Statue in front of Mattison’s Grill & Restaurant at the corner of Main & Lemon streets
WHAT’S INCLUDED: 3 tastings plus dessert (enough for a meal!), water is provided at all stops and the restaurant gratuities are included in the ticket price. Optional drink packages are also available at an extra charge. If you enjoyed your tour, tips are accepted and are greatly appreciated by our tour guides.
Attire: Comfortable walking shoes as we cover about 1 mile in distance

Here are a few of the steps we are taking to stay ahead of the virus:
- All tastings are individually portioned
- Guides wash their hands before the tour and throughout
- KCT has coordinated with our tour partners to ensure that necessary sanitary measures are being implemented
- Tour groups are limited to 10 guests (unless a private tour booking)
- Guide stories are presented in open air areas to allow for social distancing
- You are ALWAYS welcome to wear a mask when not dining for your own protection

This taste of Downtown Sarasota Dinner Tour delights you in many ways: The history, the architecture, the restaurant visits, and our amazing local tour guides. You visit four restaurants, each unique in its own way, as you sample some scrumptious culinary delights.
Our food tours include a diverse range of cuisine and focus on helping you discover out-of-the-way restaurants with exceptional food. We never rush you as we tour Sarasota, and we want you to relax at each restaurant stop and enjoy your food and the conversation. All of our tours are limited to 10 guests so book early! We are locally owned, operated and we offer a 5 Star Guarantee for your experience!
At the end of this three-hour culinary tour, you’re filled with great food and fun, historical tidbits about Sarasota’s downtown.
Parking: We suggest that you park in the 2nd Street City Parking Garage above the Whole Foods parking. The entrance to the free city parking for 4 hrs. on levels 2 through 4 is on 2nd St.
Parking is also available in the State Street parking garage on State Street. Please be aware that the City of Sarasota charges for parking after 2 hrs. The third hour is $3 and it is $1 per hour after that. As the city is growing substantially, parking ‘can’ be a issue so please allow enough time to find alternative parking in the event the garage is full and still meet your guide at the designated time/location.
Please note: All Sarasota food tours require a minimum of four people. This does not mean one party must book four individuals, but that our total headcount achieves the minimum. So if you are a solo traveler, we will notify you if we have not reached this capacity and we will always strive to accommodate our valued guests!
