15 South Ristorante: Northern Italian on St. Armands Circle
Family-owned and operated since 2001, proprietors Joseph and Ann Casadio have pulled out all the stops in this charming and romantic restaurant. From the piano bar to the extensive wine list that features over 65 wines available, patrons have a choice between dining casually al fresco outside or in the cozy and elegant formal dining room. While the cuisine is predominantly Northern Italian, there are plenty of other interesting selections infused into the menu of this special Sarasota Originals restaurant on the Circle.
15 South’s bread, sauces, pizza crusts, dressings, and some pastas are all made in-house and they source locally for their seafood and vegetables. Upstairs boasts a vivacious and lively nightclub that features live entertainment and dancing seven days a week.
Born on the Italian coastline in Sestri Levante, owner Joseph Casadio feels the similarities between Sarasota and his influential native tourist town on the Mediterranean. Currently a stop on our happy hour tour, Key Culinary guests are welcomed with savory bruschetta and generous pours of Prosecco in the quaint piano bar while the impressive wall of wine stimulates the backdrop. It’s no wonder 15 South is fifteen years strong and counting.
